1. Read the whole package

Find the scope, worksite, required forms, amendments, question deadline and submission method. Do not assume a summary contains everything.

2. Separate facts from questions

Copy exact requirements into your checklist. Write down missing details as questions. Ask through the buyer’s authorized channel; never invent an answer.

3. Prepare evidence and a price

Use work your company actually performed. Check permissions for references. Include labor, supplies, equipment, travel and payment timing. Use the required price form.

4. Review before sending

Check signatures, amendments, attachments, deadline and time zone. Submit through the official buyer channel, keep the receipt, and record the actual outcome.

See an example clarification question

Are consumables supplied by the buyer, and which floor-care tasks belong in the separate line?

The example is not sent anywhere. Use the official question channel for an actual bid.
